This is one of the chepaest place..............i was horrified looking at the room and the place......I just went to another hotel............i lost my money for reservation but am happy i dint have to stay there

I called several times for directions and the staff person was courteous and patient because I had a bit of trouble with his accent. The room was fine for the price, I got one with it's own bathroom for an extra $5. I had been camping in my van, so this was the lap of luxury as far as I was concerned. I was so exhausted from driving in Silicon Valley traffic that I just laid down and said ahhhhh..., then watched TV for a while before drifting off to a really good night's sleep. The hallways were a bit smoky but the room was fine. It helped that I brought my own fluffy towels and bathrobe, as well as my own big bar of soap. Their supplies were on the meager side, and the room was small, but who cares, I don't need to pay any more for a room that I'm going to be asleep in for most of the time. I didn't see any signs of shady characters. Breakfast was basic. Parking was free. Decent neighborhood, a short walk to a farmer's market and Macy's.

I was looking for a cheap place and so chose this place without looking at the reviews. It was a nightmare stay and made me want to leave this area. The staff person was horrible. He was rude, unkind and argumentative. When I asked him about the buses, he just waved his hand and didn't tell me what bus to catch and where to catch it. He didn't care about service. He gave me wrong information and was just a horrible mean person. I asked him about where to go for this and that and he did not help me. In fact he deliberately refused to assist me. I had to resort to asking strangers who were guests in the hotel for help and information like where is the nearest bus stop.

So instead of booking for a week which I needed to do I booked for two days as I had nowhere else to go. It's far from everything. To get to the main road where all the buses run (El Camino Real) you have to walk 20 minutes. There is no convenience store nearby. The room was gloomy and small and dirty and the TV did not work well. The WiFi was so slow. I wanted to slit my wrists staying there to tell you the truth. Don't go there if you can avoid it. Find somewhere on El Camino Real if you do not have a car even if you have to pay a little more.

Awful experience, my husband and I made RSVP on orbitz specifically requested non-smoking. We arrive parking sucks, but we give it a chance it's a smaller hotel in a shopping center. The hotel had an undeniable odor but again we gave it a chance. Got to the room and it it smelled like smokey the bear and a room full of funky veteran prostitutes. Requested non-smoking I was told that the rooms were booked. So I called on my cell phone and asked for non -smoking and was told they could accommodate me, outraged I demanded our money back and that process took 45 min. Just horrible !
