Stayed here for a belated valentinesday unfortunately for only one night. I couldn't get over the bed! Indoddnt want to leave it!! Beautiful canopy and super comfortable. Room had wonderful view I don't think there's a bad room in the whole place the way it is set up. Jacuuzzi tub was very nice. No complaints other than not staying long enough!!

We had a very nice stay, we switched rooms from a downstairs to a upstairs w/balcony, much better and quieter, The beds are comfy, the room could use updating..... sorry but it was a little outdated. And, the bathroom floor was filthy, i ended up cleaning the floor with our wash clothe because it was very dirty, I expect a cleaner bathroom for the price I'm paying, especially since other people used it! Other than that... everyone was nice, food was very good and it was peaceful.

My husband and I were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and were supposed to stay here the middle of Dec. Well the weekend we were supposed to go, I had to have emergency surgery and we had to call at the last minute and cancel. They were so gracious about it, told us no problem and moved our reservation to the end of Dec. I was surprised with how accommodating they were.

We had stayed here 2 previous times, the first time was for our 5th anniversary, and this stay was just as great as the 2 previous stays. The staff is amazing. They go out of their way to answer any questions you may have, make dinner reservations for you or just offer suggestions. They offer a gourmet breakfast every morning with things like eggs and sausage, fresh fruit, muffins, various juices along with fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee. In the late afternoon they offer wine and a few horderves. The day we arrived they had chocolate covered cherries made to look like little mice with a Hershey's kiss. Very cute. For dessert, they had chocolate mousse cake and cheesecake. Everything we ate was delicious.

As far as the room goes, we had a King Balcony room and it was wonderful. We had a very large balcony with a great view of the ocean. I will admit though, there is a lot of traffic and train noise while out on the balcony. In your room with the door closed, the freeway noise could hardly be heard but we were able to hear the train every time it came by. Neither thing was enough to bother us and I am a very light sleeper. There are ear plugs in the room if it is an issue for you but as I said they never woke me up while sleeping. The beds were very comfortable and there is a fireplace in the room for chilly evenings.

We will definitely be back to the Inn on Summerhill again. It really was nice to relax and unwind in such a beautiful place.

There's nothing but good things to say about this hotel.

The breakfast is tasty. The afternoon wine and snacks are tasty.

The views are great. Yes you have to look past the highway but who cares. Its still a great view. The balcony is such a nice place to sit and drink coffee or wine and relax in the sun.

Bed was very comfy and the service was perfect. There's the cute town to stroll around in and you can walk to the beach if you're up for it.

A great place to stay in summerland or santa barbara.
