First of all NO SECURITY. This is a high crime city, but not one security person was on duty when our trailer with all our belongings was broken into and everything stolen. We parked it right out front! I guess the person at the front desk was busy watching TV or playing video games to look out the window. POOR housekeeping. If you are there for more than a week, housekeeping comes only once a week, NOT every other day like California law states (to avoid scabies.). Believe me, the bedspreads and mattress pads don't get washed either. Avoid this place if you can.

“Better Options Elsewhere for "Residential" Stays in Stockton”

I used to live in Stockton and travel back there fairly often to visit friends and check on my rental property. I've been switching from hotel to hotel in the I-5/March Lane area to see which one pleases me the most. For my most recent stay, I decided that I wanted a suite-style room and booked a room at Extended Stay America. I have friends who stayed there while their home was being renovated, and they had spoken positively about it.

If you're looking for a suite-style hotel in the area, I'd recommend the Marriott Residence Inn just a few blocks away as a better choice.

Extended Stay America (ESA) was clean enough, and did provide a microwave, full-size fridge, and a sink -- but that's it. No pool, no gym, no breakfast buffet -- you get a room and that's all. Marriott Residence Inn will offer you all of the above for the same price.
