I'm giving this hotel 4 stars compared to other hotels in its class. If I could always afford to stay in 5 star hotels, I would. But it really isn't fair to compare this hotel to the Ritz Carlton or other high end hotels.
The room size in this hotel was certainly adequate, with a large bathroom and reasonably-sized living area. The kitchen was fine - although missing an oven. Just a stove top, microwave, refrigerator, sink, dishwasher. Not elegant, certainly, but it was fine. The furniture was in pretty good shape. The bed.... well, not really a high end bed. But it was adequate. I had a little bit of a back ache in the morning.
The hotel was clean, and the room was very clean.
We used the indoor pool next door at the Courtyard, as the pool here was under maintenance. But that was easy and no problem.
The breakfast was certainly acceptable as well - waffles, eggs, sausage, bagels or toast, cereals, oatmeal, juices, yogurt, bananas.
There was some noise in the bedroom - from the water running in the next room over - and our bathroom fan was pretty loud. But nothing was extreme.
I can't give this hotel 5 stars because nothing was a "wow", but really I have no complaints at all.
