We stayed here for the Rose Bowl, and were there for 6 nights. The second night we were there, someone was able to open our door with their key. When we reported it, the hotel staff didn't seem to be too concerned. The last day we were there, we were awakened by someone else coming into our room at 5:30 AM!! Supposedly it was someone from security looking for leaks, however he did not knock on the door or announce himself as he entered....and why at 5:30 in the morning?? When we discussed our concerns with the hotel manager, he didn't take any action other than to say he would be in touch with us. We called the hotel twice after we got home the following week and they still had nothing to say so we called the corporate office who said they would look into it and get back to us within 48 hours....that was over a week ago and still nothing. The room was clean, however there was no phone book, hotel guide, or anything in the room to suggest places to eat, etc. As far as security, they leave the courtyard gates open until 10:30 PM....so what kind of security is that? Their restaurant is only open until 2 PM, so if you want dinner, you have to go somewhere else. The exercise room was closed and 'out of order' the whole time we were there. The only thing I can say good about it is that the room was clean and the bed comfortable, but there is no way I would ever stay there again.
