“Average motel.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

We (two couples) stayed here last October during a trip to wine country. We were surprised when we arrived. The word "Inn" in the name is misleading as it appears to be a motel from the 50's. Our wives wanted to go somewhere else but we convinced them it would not be a good use of our time plus we had prepaid.

The rooms were dated, small, and basic but they were extremely clean. Pictures on the website are accurate but misled me regarding room size and space.

I could stay here again but not at the rates we were charged.

There was a little cafe around the corner that had a pretty good breakfast.

“More like a motel than a B & B, but clean & great value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2012

We found this place, which is located about a mile from the heart of Sonoma, in a listing for Bed & Breakfasts. Well, there is no breakfast included with the room (we knew that when we booked the room), but there is a nice little kitchenette place below one end of the Sonoma Creek Inn that serves a dandy breakfast---great menu, good service, wonderful food. It's not fancy by any means, but a fine place for breakfast.

As for the rooms, our room, which had a balcony, was spacious and clean. The bathroom was particularly spacious. We had booked three nights for $129 each, and thought that was a good deal for two in Sonoma. When we checked in, the manager told us there was a special for our midweek stay of $99 a night, and she gave us that rate!

The Inn has more of a motel feel to it from the outside (note the traveler pictures), but the rooms are very nice and the value was excellent.

Room Tip: Our balcony provided excellent privacy; the "patio" rooms have extremely small patios with...

“Nice place to stay in Sonoma”

This hotel has the typical structure of a motel/easily-accessible-by-car inn. It is well furnished and pleasant, and in a good position not far from any location in Sonoma. The management is friendly and they have a good list of recommended wineries and restaurants in the area. They do accept pets. So, this is definitely a good place where to stay if you are traveling in the area, especially if you have your dog traveling with you.

“Great first time trip to Sonoma!”

I'm late to the game reviewing this one. My fiance and I stayed here 7/7/11 - 7/9/11. We were visiting for a wedding that I stood up in. It was our first time to Sonoma. This was a hotel that the bride recommended as being near the venue (Lodge at Sonoma) and not over priced. We got a room and another friend and her boyfriend stayed here as well in a nearby room. There's parking and check in was a breeze. Our rooms were quiet and perfect for what we needed.

I felt safe in the area and went for at least one run (may have been two!) on my own while there in the mornings.

I would stay here again for a nicely priced trip to Sonoma.

“Very nice for price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 October 2011

This was very nice for the price and well located in Sonoma. We drove in late and they offered us a late checkout which was nice. There was a fireplace and a set up for wine with glasses and wine knife. Perfect for a valley visit.
