Stayed here on a weekend trip to the wine county. Hotel is located one block from the center of Solvang, you can easily walk anywhere. Rooms were lovely, very clean with stylish furniture. Very dark though, you had to turn on the lights during the day. Slightly noisy too, you can hear people next door. Room has a fridge and microwave, great if you are traveling with kids. Rate includes continental breakfast, you can make your own waffles. We paid $140 per night, not sure it's worth it but seems like that's the prevailing rates in the area on the weekend.

Overall the inn is a good value for your money any day except saturdAy when it's a bit pricey. The staff when we checked-in was polite & accommodating. The continental breakfast is good enough and you should try their scones. The beds are clean & comfortable, the pillows soft, and more importantly no bed bugs. The bathroom is ok except for the toilet rim which was not thoroughy cleaned. Most hotels are not particular about this but they should require their cleaning crews to make sure the toilet rim is as clean as the rest of the room.

Did a last minute getaway to Santa Barbara/Solvang over the holiday weekend so options were pretty limited for what we were willing to spend ($300 for one night, I don't think so). My boyfriend booked the Kronborg for just over $100 for the King Room. Not really sure what that meant, we were still pretty stoked on the deal!

When we got there (3 hours before check-in, no less), they let us get in to our room early since it was ready. We got the keys and headed up to the room, which had a special access door above the lobby with a 39 on it. We thought it a little strange, but as we entered were pretty blown away. First, the room was HUGE with beautiful damask curtains and bedding, vaulted ceilings, large flatscreen TV, couch, small card table, lounge chair, mirrored closet, beautiful bathroom with a nice high shower head.....but the kicker of the deal was a MASSIVE jacuzzi tub in the middle of the room. Literally, this thing could have fit 4 people. Unfortunately the jets weren't working, but they told us that it was going to be remodeled in the near future. Either way, it was super cool.

As most have said, the location is awesome....but let's be real, everything in Solvang is walking distance. We didn't end up partaking in the breakfast, but it definitely smelled great! They had Bath and Body Works Bath amenities, a refrigerator, microwave and the bed was SUPER comfy with great white linen.

We were extremely pleased with our stay.

My wife and I stayed here for a night while we cruised around the Santa Barbara area and found this place to be a good value. I payed $89 for a king size bed on a Tuesday night and I liked the location (right on the west edge of town), I liked the value (they served a free breakfast) and I liked the room. Yes, I could hear some traffic noise from the highway and it was pretty empty so there weren't 20 kids jumping in the pool next to our room. However, I certainly would stay there again.
