Couldn't be happier with the location, grounds upkeep, staff, and food. I don't think I could improve on my experience there a bit.

I would say this is one of the best hotels to stay at in San Diego. The staff is great! The GM Tim is on top of everything. Only if all Marriott could have all there hotels like this one. I travel the San Diego area about once every 3 weeks and this is where I stay.

I travel the San Diego area about once every 4-5 weeks and this is where I stay when I do. Very clean. Very quiet. And in a very nice location near quite few excellent spots for food and drink. Highly recommended.

Just make sure you add your phone number at the front desk to the AT&T signal boosters at the hotel as the reception without it there is horrible.

We needed a short get-a-way and booked the Courtyard By Marriot in Solana Beach. From the moment we checked in we felt well taken care of and like we were on vacation. We only live 25 minutes away, but felt with the view from our room and the cozy pool area that we could be anywhere. Mat the manager checked us in and I had him pick out room location for us. he had offered us a few locations. We had booked the suite with the whirlpool tub. We loved the room, comfy bed, extra pillows as requested and a wonderful spot tucked in the back and surrounded by palms. There is a nice wet bar area with a small fridge. Easy walking distance to several restaurants. We enjoyed the Bangkok Bay next door. Just walked about 40 steps and we were there. We loved this hotel and are already planning out next stay.
