Stayed from December 26 to Jan 1st. Great location in Del Mar, right across the street from the Racetrack and next door to a great seafood restaurant call The Fish Market. Within a quarter mile of the I-5, which allows access to San Diego to the South, and Orange County, and LA to the North.
We had a 1 bedroom suite, which was very nice, especially since it had two bathrooms, and a ready area for the ladies to put on make-up and such.
The room itself had a decent kitchen, the refrigerator was quite a bit larger than I expected. We were able to fit everything we needed into the fridge, milk gallon, pop, syrup, butter etc... The living room was nice with a flat screen on the wall, DVD player, and a small closet for those staying in the living room. The couch pulls out to a bed.
The bedroom was very nice with a queen bed, large closet, dresser, and flat screen.
The fitness center is okay, but manageable. The cardio equipment is nice and up to date. There are two flat screens to watch while working out.
Just about 1/2 mile away is a grocery complex with a McDonald's, an Albertson's with a Starbuck's inside, a Coffee Bean, and quite a few other shops. Across the street is a movie theater. Of course, the beach is about a mile or so away. Hope this helps.
