“Excellent hosts and oh so pretty views”

Loved our stay the Shell Beach Inn. First up the service here was really excellent, very warm and friendly staff, happy to chat and genuinely interested in ensuring your stay is top notch. Mu husband and I stopped off at Shell Beach on a Route 1 roadtrip and chose the accommodation for it's reasonable price - it really is good value, with very good sized rooms and clean setting. This is not an ultra modern hotel and is old fashioned in many ways, but has the charm of an excellent East coast hotel.

A short walk from Shell Beach Inn is the beautiful Californian coast. My husband and I went for a walk at sunset and were blown away by is rugged beauty. Do not miss out on this experience if you happen to stay here.

“My Favorite Place to Stay on Trips to San Francisco from Orange County”

I love The Shell Beach Inn. I have stayed there a number of times and always keep coming back. It is close to everything, especially the beach. The owners are such great people and go "that extra mile" to make sure you are comfortable and every thing is in working order in your room. I plan to stay at The Shell Beach Inn when ever I travel to and from the Bay Area to home in Orange County. I highly recommend this cozy, clean
Inn to my friends and anyone else interested. I have stayed at 5 star hotels all over the U.S. but The Shell Beach Inn is a favorite of mine.................

“Beautifully kept, beautiful location, friendly and homely”

We stumbled upon this little place while travelling the pacific coast highway!
We were origianally destined for the palamar...... However we decided to have a drive along shell beach road being that it was so lovely!
We saw a lovely little pool and decided to have a look..... So glad we did!
We were welcomed by the big smiles of edd and janine! Just what we needed after we had been travellig with no idea of where we would next lay our heads!
We were shown our room and it was beautiful! Flat screen tv, bath tub, coffee maker, fridge and microwave! With a lovely carpet and beautiful bed! We stayed in room 5. We likes it so much that we decided to stay for two weeks! It was home from home, being from England this was lovely for us!
If you ever go to pismo or any of the following places, sack off all the other motels, hotels and inn's and come stay at the shell beach inn!

We were looking for a hotel in the Pismo Beach area and my husband stumbled upon the Shell Beach Inn on the internet. After checking the TripAdvisor I called and made reservations.

I was pleasantly surprised. It was clean and well kept. The rooms were nice enough. The only complaint I have was the bathtub was old and had scratches in it. The rest of the bathroom seemed to have been redone. The bathroom door was hard to close. None of these complaints were too bad though. All and all I thought it was a nice place.

“Loved Shell Beach Inn”

We picked this place because it allowed our small dog and I am so glad we did. The rooms are great with two beds for a family of four. Located within walking distance of the Shell Beach cliffs and only a 5 minute drive to the beaches at Pismo Beach. Pool was clean and a lot of fun. I recommend this place to anyone.
