This motel is quite small and on a main street, but it was a very good value for the money. Very clean, microwave and fridge and good TV. I was pleased with it especially for the price.

This hotel is right off of a very busy road so get there early to park in the small parking lot or you have to park on the road. The room was small but was clean and what we expected. The bathroom smelled a little like something was rotting but I think it was actually coming from outside and the kelp in the ocean often smells like that. We slept fine and were in and out quickly. The front desk guy was a little hard to understand on the phone. Overall fine for the great price.

I stayed here during a recent trip to the Monterey Penisnsula for the Big Sur Half Marathon. The location was close enough to Monterey that travelling back and forth was no problem. The room was clean and adequete for my needs, however, it was very noisy since this hotel sits right on a main road and the ceiling/floor (two story motel) appears very thin. I could hear the people upstairs walking around and I could hear their coffee pot. I also found it odd that although they provided a microwave and small fridge there was no clock radio in the room. Would I stay there again? Only if I had ear plugs.
