We arrived to the hotel late Saturday night and I was very tired and had a splitting headache. I had flown in from the east coast that morning, compounding my urge to sleep.
I was given the room right next to the office, which was noisy with the door slamming all the time, but that didn't really bother me that much.
There was no remote control for the TV. There were crumbs and other dirt on the kitchen counter. The door to the fuse box between the bedroom and bathroom would not close and jutted out into the hallway the whole time. There was no shampoo (or anything else) in the bathroom (I still cannot believe that - I stay in a LOT of hotels and they all have shampoo). The only glass to use in the bathroom was a tall drinking glass from the kitchen cabinet. The toilet barely flushed. The shower head pointed straight down unless you held it with your hand. The wireless internet was not complimentary (I waited to use the free wireless on the square in Healdsburg the next morning). The whole place had a very dingy feel to it - especially the bathroom. Other people in my party had similar or worse experiences including a room that smelled like cat pee, having the hair dryer on loan from the front desk start a fire, and being kept up much of the night by rhythmic banging from the floor above.
The place looks OK from the outside, but believe me it's not worth the price - spend a few bucks more and stay anywhere else.
