Pros:
-located right off the 101, this ESA is well connected to santa rosa businesses and wine country attractions
-each room has a kitchenette with cookingware, refrigerator, stove, tv, and air conditioning
-towel service is generous

Cons:
-stiff mattresses and pillows that make it extremely difficult to get a good night's sleep
-musty smelling carpets on unrennovated floors/rooms
-spotty and slow internet
-inconsistent cleanliness - trash and dirty towels will stockpile overnight in hallways
-unreliable staff - nice over the phone and in person but drop the ball in following up concerns
-older appliance models with problems not addressed before rooming customers

bottomline: if you care about getting some sleep while traveling, do not come here. there are a ton of hotels in santa rosa who offer deals and much more reliable amenities and service

This is a reasonably priced, good location. It is quite and for someone having to be in Sonoma or Napa county for a week or more, it is a good value. It is not a luxury wine country stay, it is what it is - quite, safe, clean. DO NOT MIX this one up with the South Santa Rosa location, that one is in a very bad part of town and not comfortable at all.
I can drive to Calistoga (Napa County) in 35 min from here or Healdsburg / Dry Creek area in 20 min. When you are here, you are off of 101 a few blocks, at a day time busy intersection but was very quite at night and no problem getting a good night sleep.

We stayed here 3 nights when visiting Santa Rosa & Windsor for a triathlon. I really wanted somewhere to stay with a kitchen and this hotel was perfect. Decent sized room (we were able to store our two bikes in our room with no problem), clean, good sized bathroom, and the kitchenette was great (full sized fridge, coffee maker, microwave). It met all our expectations for the price.

We have family in Santa Rosa and have stayed at most (every) hotel in the area the past several years. Santa Rosa is very seasonal and reflects so in the rates (big overflow from wine country tourists). Booked at Ext. Stay America NORTH because of availability. If you had no other place to sleep, it would do. Avoid. VERY, very overpriced. One queen bed, rock hard. Two
rock hard pillows. T.V. was below the bed line. Carpet was pulled up in the hall. Should have been worth a $50.00 a night motel in the middle no where, but at $139.00 !!! they deserve this review.
