I thought paying $400.00 a night we would get a nice place by the beach. Was I wrong. The wooden floors were filthy. I had to keep my shoes on the whole time. I would of opened a window but the neighbors were outside smoking on the patio. There must of been 18 people staying in the next to us and below us. There children were left in the room, from 10pm to 1am jumping around and screaming. We ate breakfast at Babba -Gumps , due to terrible continental breakfast offered. Internet is offered- 1 computer placed on the front desk.. This hotel has false advertising. The location is good but the hotel and service stinks. Beware parking is extra. They must expect customers to walk to the hotel. Valued @ $159.00 night wasted $250.00. Beware...

It seems great with fenders and surf boards on the wall and all, but it is pretty shabby and rather tired. Do not be fooled and sacrifice BoHo for quality. I was disappointed and would not go back. There are much better places in Santa Monica

Santa Monica is very expensive to stay, and this is no exception. $25 dollars to park adds to the high cost.
Free Internet, and coffee in reception.
Funky old rooms with guitars on the walls, and surf boards for headboards. Big comfy beds.
A bit worn , but this adds to the charm.
The beachside location is the main selling point, simply great.
And check out big deans bar a few hundred yard away, good value food and drink.
Oh ask for a room at the back, the traffic at the front is horrendous.

This was an interesting hotel. It was walking distance to the Santa Monica pier so it was a great location.

The parking leaves something to be desired. Had to park on the street 2 of 4 nights. Even had to move the car in the early am because of the street cleaners.

We had a 1 bedroom with a kitchenette. Loved having a full size refridgerator and microwave. Made eating a whole lot cheaper.

The room had no air but the ocean breeze and the fans kept it cool enough. (and I stay hot)

There was a double bed in the bedroom and a day bed with trundle in the living room.. There were three of us and we never felt cramped. Very spacious.

The bathroom had a shower, no tub. Small but not too small. Been in much smaller ones.

The rooms were clean and well kept. I had no issues with the room at all. I would consider staying here again.
