Obviously for the price your not gonna get the best but I liked it here. Free wifi, about 76 tv Channels, clean rooms, includes breakfast and parking though breakfasts are a bit rubbish. The area was good too, only a 1 dollar bus ride to Venice beach or Santa Monica pier.

The pictures made me a bit skeptical, however when we arrived from a long 7 hour drive at 11PM we were happily surprised. Desk clerk was nice, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean with a good sized bathroom. The hotel, although on Santa Monica Boulevard, was quiet. Breakfast was the typical, but good for a start before heading out. The location was great, 2 miles to the boardwalk, etc and about 15 miles to Hollywood. We drove to the pier and parked in the garages, lots of parking and the sign outside the garage tells you how many spaces are available, green lights inside guide you to spots. We were there 1/3/12-1/5/12 so the crowds had left and kids were back in school which helped. Sunset at the pier was beautiful, as expected. We drove to Grahmans Chinese Theater to pick up tour buses. Used the Tom Tom to negotiate so we could get off the Santa Monica Boulevard and drive through the streets of Beverly Hills a bit. We did not have any problems with traffic or parking ever.

Thsi was a bit of let down after our stay at Pismo Beach the previous night.
Because of an airline strike we had to make a quick booking and this is what our travel agent got for us.The rooms were clean and tidy and the staff helpful but it seemed to cost a bit more than similar hotels we have stayed in on this holiday. It may have been because of the late booking.
We had trouble with the wireless internet and even though they had the experts in to fix it, we still had a very poor signal that kept dropping out.

Nice hotel in a good location. We had a car but much easier to get around by the buses which stop 1 minute from the hotel.

The hotels itself was very nice and had lovely little courtyard areas. The rooms was had was good, not too large but OK for 1 night. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was really spacious. TV and tea & coffee making facilities in the room.

Breakfast was ok served in a room on the ground floor. Inclued in the price so good value. The hotel also has a lift which is great if travelling with large suitcases.

The staff on reception were not the happiest, they did everything OK but never really smiled or made you feel welcome.

Take the number 1 bus down to the pier - only $1 each and much quicker than driving down there. We also took the sight seeing buses to get around. The cost $35 each for 24 hours but at least you get to the places you want to see rather than trying to negotiate the traffic.
