Pros: Location is excellent, beds are some of the most comfortable I've ever slept on, Stefan in the cafe' and the cafe' in general were lovely.
Cons: There is a bar on the roof that is very cool, but very loud for about 4 floors from the top and in the lobby and elevator. It also makes elevator use really frustratingly slow in the evenings. There is nowhere to sit and relax and talk other than in your room, especially in the evenings. Obnoxious bar patron screaming the "F___" word repeatedly one night in the Lobby until police removed him. The room is in need of renovation - ripped sheers, dirty windows, curtains had food stain on them, ottoman had food stain on it, wallpaper in bathroom, peeling, ripped and bubbling, tile in bathroom cracked, grout needs to be redone, mold at ceiling and in grout on shower floor, stains on carpet, outside paint cracked and peeling. Parking is an additional $30/day, no pool or hot tub.

Have stayed at Huntley on business. It is a good location and a comfortable hotel with a 'no fuss' service. Good views don't come cheap.

I stayed at the huntly on 1/2/2012 . I stayed at the Huntly 10 years ago any it was a very nice place then, but they have done a remodel in the last 5 or 6 years and it has totaly lost its charm. the hallways are very very dark dim lighting and dark brown carpet and very dark walls your one block away from the beach but you feel like your staying in a bear cave or that you could be bitten by a vampire in the hallway it is dark and gothic just plain creepy. I must say the staff was very nice and the bed and shower was good, but at $ 400 +a night its just not worth it
