Good location, 2 minute walk to muscle beach & Santa Monica pier. 5 minute walk to town centre. Easy access to Hollywood, Beverley Hills.
Hotel very basic, but clean. Certainally not a chandelier and spa resort, but perfect if your trip is for exploring the area.
Chez Jay bar next door was ok for food and drink, but there are plenty of really good places in the town centre.
Hop on hop off tour buses run from Santa Monica pier, really worth doing.
Wish I was still there, enjoy !!!

Last hotel of our trip and the worst by far. The best thing about it is the location and the fact that there were 2 rooms - if you have a family with you. Other than that the rooms & bathroom were very worn. Stained carpet. Cracked tiles. Probably was clean - but looked dubious.

Great value, close to the pier and shops. The girl at the front desk was great help with tourist activities. A bit small but comfortable.

I stay in Ocean Lodge Hotel for one week and I had nothing, but good experiance while staying there. The staff were very kind and my room was clean, sheets, towels, and bathroom especially. Location is perfect averything is walking distance go to restaurants, shopping stores and the pier is just across the street.

I must say that I really enjoyed staying in Ocean Lodge Hotel and if I ever came back to Santa Monica I will love to stay there again....! :)
