I can only echo what previous reviews have said, great location, on street parking, faded but elegant decor. We stayed in an apartment which was spacious and comfortable. We bought supplies from the nearby World market and had a leisurely breakfast in our room. Brigitta was very friendly and helpful.

This is a very old building. Once there, you have a haunted feeling. I stayed there for the weekend, and I only saw 3 guests for the entire stay. Consider it is a large building, with so few person I saw, it definately feel a little weird.

It is in a very quiet neighbourhood, and the surroundings are safe. I walk in the night and have no problems.

The front desk person is friendly. The problem is front desk only have person available from 8am to 8pm in the weekend. If you arrive late, I suggest you make a phone call and let them know first.

Good location and lovely hotel, old but charming and very helpful staff. The room we stay was small but comfortable. The best of Santa Monica is just a walking distance.Not for everyone if you are looking for modern room.Suitable for couples and families with varieties of rooms. We enjoyed our 2 nights stay and will be back again.

I agree with all the reviews that say this place is Excellent. My only addition is that if you want to spend the weekend in Santa Monica without a car, this is a good place to stay. You can eat, sleep and shop all within walking distance of this place. Enjoy!
