I had an awesome time staying at the Shore Hotel, such friendly and customer service oriented staff. The rooms were clean and fresh to stay in, the front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and of assistance. The best part of my stay was the 'above and beyond' service on my final afternoon even though i had already checked out of my stay. With a long flight to Australia ahead of me the staff provided me with a room for a pre-flight shower and preparation. This was unexpected and although not an everyday service offering of theirs, it is an indication of the service oriented nature of the staff. Helpful in every way, i couldn't have done the 14hour LA to Sydney flight without that shower! Cannot recommend them highly enough. Staying here is a must.

We loved this hotel and found that waking up by the ocean every day was a real treat.We had a regular room on the side of the hotel and we could even see a slice of the ocean from there.If you have a car you have to use their parkade.I would use self-park since you have to go down to the parking garage anyway to get your car.Other than that we loved staying there and will be back again in the future.

This hotel has a great vibe. It is the perfect hotel for the area - casual and cool. The rooms are well appointed with super comfy beds. I loved the location and the price was very reasonable. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our special requests. Great pool. I can't wait to go back!

Stayed at Shore Hotel this past weekend for a quick Cali trip. Location was amazing, right across from the beach and Santa Monica Pier. Not even a 5 minute walk. Third Street Promenade was very close as well. Modern and comfortable atmosphere. Rooms even if a tad small are a good size and very clean. We had the Ocean View room with a balcony. We loved sitting on the balcony and people watching or to look at the ocean. Can be a bit noisy from the street with the sliding door open, but with it closed most of the noise was blocked out (we were on the 3rd floor). Bed was comfortable. No bathtub in bathroom, which was fine by me. Shower was a good size - remember you need to press the button on the wall to the right to have the shade come down for privacy. No items in mini bar so you can use it for your own things. Plenty of closet and drawer space. Front Desk agent was polite and called after we checked in to make sure everything was ok with our room. Parking is convenient and expensive at $30 a night. There is free WiFi. Not sure if In Room Dining will be coming along with the restaurant this year?! Great Find!
