I just switched to SPG - Starwood Preferred Guest - for the air miles. This hotel has friendly service, the room had a balcony with an ocean view, and a generous sized desk with wifi and a couple of outlets for electrical equipment. Club level has nice morning coffee and continental breakfast with sliced fruit. The room needs a face life. Seriously - a popcorn ceiling and a plastic wall thermostat for a $300 per night room?? That said, I was very pleased to get triple miles for a 3 night, combined business and recreational trip in February (the off season). I would likely stay here again as a result of the miles.
Ashleigh at the front desk was very helpful, as was the lead valet parking attendant. The pool area is quiet and pleasant.
The bed was quite comfortable, per usual at Sheratons. I'd give it 3.5 stars if that were an option. But, given the choice of 3 or 4 stars, I'll go with 4.
Room Tip: higher rooms are quieter and have better views.
