My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. It was a great place overall. The rooms, price, service and location. They had a breakfast room that wasn't huge but just right. I have no complaints and will recommend this hotel to any one.

Great location and clean rooms! Very quiet and comfortable!!!

The property has continued to improve since our first stay in 2006. The entire facility is well maintained the rooms are clean and comfortable with a fridge and microwave. The staff is very attentive and always pleasant. The rare time we had a room problem is was dealt with immediately. We will continue as loyal guests as that is the way we are treated.

It was UCSC Orientation weekend, and very little available. I figured it was a Ramada, so it would probably be OK. The good: Convenient location, very friendly and helpful front office staff, and relatively quiet room. The bad: Our non-smoking room REEKED of cigarettes. Dingy, worn with dirty carpet. We didn't see any evidence of bedbugs. That said, we've had lovely stays in the past at the Holiday Inn Express (which is a bit pricier) and the Ocean Pacific Lodge (about the same, pricewise, as this Ramada), so those would be my recommendations.
