We had a very large room (7) with huge closet and bathroom. Very comfortable bed and pillows, in room coffee maker, TV with DVD player which was great since we had our own to watch. It is on a somewhat busy street but we turned on the air conditioner and closed the windows and it was plenty quiet. Staff was very nice and helpful, had candy on the counter when our sweet tooth struck. The photos on the internet are totally accurate for the room we had, everything was clean and lovely, overall was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. Went to dinner at Italian restaurant next door, very authentic and excellent, and walked down the street to the cliffs overlooking the bay, there was even a bench for us to sit and watch the sunset.

We were meeting up with a friend for a night in Santa Cruz. We needed a pleasant, relatively quiet hotel room. Bella Notte was great. The room was very nice, on par with a 3-4 star hotel (think Hilton). The bed was comfortable with very nice sheets (600 count), down pillows, a comforter with a duvet, etc. The bathroom was recently renovated. While not our favorite style, the country French decor was tasteful. I recommend an upstairs room. We were on the top corner. We could hear the cars driving on the street, but the hotel is not at the intersection so it wasn't bad. Loved the location--a 3 minute walk to Twin Lakes State Beach and one block from a nice organic farmers market. Also, the hotel staff were very nice and professional. We would definitely stay here again!

Locally owned and run, the Belle Notte is one of my favorite places to stay in one of my favorite towns. Located in a quiet neighborhood but close enough to enjoy everything. Just a couple of blocks walk to the beach.

The staff here were very accommodating. They even let me do my laundry!! Kind of a small room but super Comfy bed.
