Because of a previous good experience, the convenient location and proximity to my client and restaurants I returned to the Ramada and could not believe my good fortune. The guest rooms have been renovated in an interesting hi-tech design with flat screen HD TV's. The transformation is quite remarkable. I have always found the service friendly and helpful and breakfast was improved from my previous visit. The rate increased $10 I believe but it remains an excellent value especially considering rates the hotels charge on 101. Go for the furnishings alone.

I was forced to stay at this hotel because there were no rooms available anywhere else. By reading the reviews, I was not to happy but when I entered the room, I was just shocked. WOW!! AWESOME!! I have never seen anything like this before in any room any where. The furniture was all carbon fiber and aluminum furniture and they had flat screen TV’s. I also give kudos to the white king size bed.

Dump. Where is the the local Health Dept? I am serious. MRSA alert.

we had reservations for 2 nights in a non-smoking room. we were given a smoking room as there were no non-smoking rooms available. when we entered the room we were hit by the stench of stale cigarettes. it was unbelievable. i wouldn't walk barefooted on the carpet or lay my head on the bed - it just stunk. the clerk was able to "find" a non-smoking room at an additional $40 - but at that point there wasn't any way we could or would stay there. i'm surprised ramada would attach their name to this dump. the only reason it got 1 star is that you can't give them none.
