My husband and my 6 year old stayed here for a night on a Friday because our home was being worked on and we couldn't sleep at home that night. We really enjoyed out stay here, very clean and the lady in the morning shift was super nice she asked us if we wanted to sign up for their club and get points which we did and she also gave us a baggy full of snacks with water she was super nice. The breakfast in the morning was awsome, my son really enjoyed it (specially the pancakes just coming out the pancake machine nice and warm) If we ever need to stay at another hotel we will definitely stay at Holiday Inn Express again. The rooms were also super clean, and the beds were very comfortable with 4 pillows per bed : )

2 night stay for a business trip. I was concerned because it was right on El Camino Real, but had a room on the back side of the hotel and it was nice and quiet, just like I need for sleeping. The hotel is recently remodeled and the room, fixtures and furnishings were nice. Only exception were some tears on one of the bed sheets. But the beds were super-comfortable and the choice of multiple pillows of different firmness/softness was a huge plus. Having a small refrigerator was really nice. There were also a microwave and coffee maker in the room. Edith, at the front desk was helpful and friendly. The breakfast included both hot and cold foods. I thought there was a great selection (biscuits, gravy, eggs, sausage or bacon, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, breads, bagels, yogurt, cereal, fruit and quite a few beverage options). When other reviewers say "basic breakfast", I'm not sure what else they were expecting at a Limited Service Property. And the attendant in the breakfast room was extremely helpful and kept all items well-stocked. The lobby was nice and comfortable. A bowl of fruit options was available, Cookies in the afternoon/evening and because of the time of year, decorated for the holidays, and a couple bowls of candy also. Free wireless worked fine in the room. Two computers in the breakfast room also available to guests. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Lots of restaurant options along El Camino Real, although you do need a car. Probably not best to be walking along El Camino Real in the dark.

I heard good things about this place. So I tried it for one night.

Newly renovated, it has a nice modern feel. Room was clean and spacious. My room was facing the back so there was no traffic noise from el camino real.

Check in was fast. The lady was extremely friendly. Breakfast was included that served hot food.

For $100 a night you really can't complain. I'd stay here again, this place would give many older crown plaza's in the area a run for it's money.

Stayed here for a change and was pleasantly surprised by the decent sleep I got on the opposite side of the hotel from the busy El Camino road. No frills here including basic breakfast and basic enough rooms but seemed clean and well maintained.
