“Loved this little Inn”

After check in the lovely girl at the front desk , I think her name was "Lila" approached us in the parking lot and offered to update our room to a King with a peek ocean view!
I was over the moon to receive this upgrade to say the least.. The room was on the small side but worked fine fir us, it was also tastefully decorated. The bed was a tad uncomfortable for me, I'm not sure if it was a cheap mattress or just old..
It could be easily remedied with a foam mattress topper if management was interested in improving the comfort of the bed without replacing it.
There is a small bar and restaurant which was convenient for a nightcap and breakfast. You get a $10 discount on breakfast.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Room Tip: We had room 24 close to the pool with a peek ocean view. perfect

“The most accomadating!!”

A huge relief!! I visit Santa Barbara every September for pleasure and I needed to stay longer then expected. I came across the Coast Village Inn while looking for a new accommodation & to my pleasure it was all I could ask for! It had a small quaint office with a more then welcoming staff that took the time to show me 3 different room types. They were very patient with me & I felt right at home. After deciding on the King room I helped myself to their complementary coffee & fun brochures of new restaurants! The room was clean, cozy & loved the flat screen LCD! I stayed for 3 nights and this by far was the most enjoyable stay I have had in Santa Barbara while fluctuating between hotels in the past. They even offered a $5 credit off a full breakfast at Peabodys restaurant where I could sit outside and overlook the town. I'm happy to say that I will no longer have to look for alternate accommodations since I will be a new regular every year with this adorable find!

Room Tip: If you like a nice ocean breeze & don't mind stairs, the upper level King rooms face the fro...

“Will not go here again”

I am a tall man 6'3"; my legs touched the wall when I sat on the toilet. Place is VERY old and the shower stall is VERY small. It was hot in the bedroom, no a/c but there was a ceiling fan.
We got bed bugs on our 10 day stay in Calif. perhaps we got them here or at our other hotel, not sure. so be warned.

“Decent value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2011 via mobile

Location was good with easy access to Santa Barbara coast. Room was small but manageable. Parking tight with a $3 fee. Price was decent value with $5 credit per person at restaurant next door. Worked well for our overnight stay.
