Great rooms with lovely unimpeded view of the ocean at a fraction of the cost of its neighbors. We got a particularly good deal because we went the week between Christmas and New Years. The breakfast room is lively, with huge windows and lots of sun, looking out at the Pacific.

I was so impressed by the kindness and friendliness of the staff and Mgr. at the hotel. Lovely smiles , friendly , efficient employees and beautiful fresh flowers greeted you upon your arrival. Every amenity was afforded us. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and so was the suite.

The only complaint I have was the loud traffic sounds coming from Milpas and Cabrillo and the homeless that gathered every day across the street, made me feel sad and uncomfortable. By late afternoon they became loud and boisterous. It concerned me enough to call the police and report it. The next day, one of these men was stabbed right outside our balcony on Milpas . 3 police cars and an ambulance arrived. Scary . The police seem ineffective to be able to do anything about it. The laws are far too lax in Ca. concerning vagrants.

Were it not for view of the homeless , that came along with the gorgeous ocean views, all would have been perfect, all 8 days of our stay.

The manager and all the employees are remarkably wonderful, helpful and truly kind, making your stay a truly pleasant one. Our thanks to all who made our stay so lovely. I highly recommend it , despite the homeless problem.

From our warm welcome and easy check-in, through four nights of lovely accommodations and amenities (including complimentary bottles of ice water from the front desk), our stay at the Inn was pure pleasure. Their breakfast was substantial, and set in a huge room filled with ocean views. The large, quiet rooms, ocean front location, valet parking, and helpful staff make this a first choice destination.

My husband and I stayed here after a long trip along the California coast during the holidays. I must say, the location is perfect! It's close enough for a nice stroll along the beach, yet further away from the State Street crowds. The hotel has charm, clean rooms and friendly and helpful staff. I would stay here every time I come through Santa Barbara.
