My wife and I only stayed here one night but I think only one night is enough, it is not a 4 or 5 star hotel. It's good for a fast pass through, spend 1 or 2 nights hotel but that would be it, the hotel is nice but it lacks parking, by the time we came back to our room there was no parking spaces inside the hotel and we had to park on the street. Also the walls of our room are very thin, you could hear all the toilets being flushed from other rooms, the continental breakfast that they announce only consist of coffee and cereal, no other treats. Luckily it is close to downtown Santa Barbara where we enjoyed a good breakfast, also it is very close to the mission and the history museum. The beds are good but not great, we were tossing and turning since they were not so comfortable to our standards.

In October, 2011 I booked 1 night at this hotel. They provides good/basic accomodations, but carpet didn't look especially clean.

The breakfast consisted of 2 different kinds of cereal, bagel, juice, tea/coffee, and prepackaged danishes and muffins.
Is a great deal for your money in Santa Barbara. For a road trip type hotel where you don't spend too much time in the room I'd recommend this providing you can get a good price. For 1 night it was fine!

These are not suites by any means. The 2nd room is small and may only be accessed through the main room. The main room is a bed, table & chairs, large tv and leads to a jack & jill type sink area, but the bathroom is off that. The small room must access the main room to use the restroom, which was moldy.

Everything was brilliant about the lodge apart from being bitten during the night and finding dead bed bugs in the bed when we woke! Place was very clean, lots of amenities in the room, fridge, iron, hairdryer, nice and modern also, only thing bad was the bed bugs, we told reception as soon as we realised and they allowed u's to check out later because I wanted to wash our cloths first so not to take them with u's! They said they would refund $16 out of the $75 we paid for laundry but really that is not good enough as we wasted the day washing drying cloths!! They should have refunded but I'm not the type of person to argue it out so said thanks for the $16 and left, will post the photos we took
