I didn't heed the warnings about this place that I had read all over the internet, but I can tell you I HAVE CONFIRMED THAT THEY ARE RUNNING A SCAM HOTEL.
I had the SAME EXPERIENCE AS THE GENTLEMAN IN AUGUST and I've read multiple claims from many people with the SAME EXPERIENCE that they are all being scammed by this hotel/inn!!! I, too, showed up for a room and was told by the same kid "Andy" that it was for the night before and that I would be charged for the room even though it was for the wrong night! I was astounded and when I asked repeatedly to contact a manager to straighten out the situation since they clearly had a mistake in the dates in their paperwork, but I was told by Andy that there was nothing he could do and that I would need to talk to the manager.
So, I insisted we contact the manager and after insisting over and over, "Andy" finally called "the manager" and then Andy wouldn't let me talk to him! Right in front of me the manager was on the phone but Andy refused to let me speak to him to remedy the situation of me having no hotel room for the night. I really don't think the manager exists from all the run-around I was given.
I was also then told that I would be charged for the night I didn't even book! $190 for a room I didn't even stay in!!!!! OUTRAGEOUS ILLEGAL ACT OF AN INN WITH NO BUSINESS PRACTICES.
Just as the gentleman in August and other people experienced, Andy smirked (laughed) at me while I left a voicemail for the Inn owner without any other choice of how to settle the situation. Andy also told me they had phoned me to inform me they were going to charge me for a "no-show" the night before but I never received any such phonecall! They are seriously scamming people at this inn! They are lying and cheating in any way they can to make a buck. This place is very fishy and once I heard from the owner (He didn't even phone me, but just sent me an email!) he even defended his rude staff, Andy, who obviously has no business being in the Service Industry.
I am also in a dispute situation with my bank. But I had to write this review to warn people: DON'T STAY HERE. My intuition after reading all the horrible reviews was to avoid it. I wished I had listened to my intuition. WHATEVER YOU DO, STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. It's horrible and after all the poor reviews, I can confirm something will go wrong there for you too. They are beyond rude and are trying to steal your money in any way they can.
I've reported them to the Better Business Bureau. If you have a bad experience here, save the world from bad business people, and REPORT THEM TOO. This hotel should not be in business.
