I was nervous about making a reservation at this hotel after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor, but took the risk anyway and SERIOUSLY REGRETTED MY DECISION. It was very last minute and there was a very good reason why there were rooms available - like another reviewer said, there seem to be a lot of people one step away from being homeless living at the hotel. I wonder what rate they're paying?! I made the reservation Saturday afternoon and my husband and I drove up from Los Angeles that evening. We drove into the parking lot where there were people hanging outside of their rooms and carrying on conversations with people across the parking lot. It was unsettling, so it wasn't surprising when we got to the room that it was FILTHY. We left right away, knowing that it would be hard to find a room, but relieved anyway. We ended up DRIVING BACK TO LOS ANGELES THE SAME NIGHT. I don't know who the people are that wrote the 2 reviews saying this hotel is O.K....IT IS ONLY O.K. IF YOU"RE DRUNK, STONED OR LOOKING TO TURN A TRICK.

Its like staying at a Travelodge or Motel 6. Don't expect some big fancy place it was clean and walking distance to everything. Would recomend to others if they needed an affordable place to stay without all the amenities.

I stayed here recently and I would recommend it to others. When you think of this place think Motel 6 not, Hilton...this is a basic motel but my room was clean and the location and rate could not be beat.

Listen to the "Don't stay here" review, that's exactly what I got. A bed, a TV (bad reception & no remote), a bathroom (the shower water filled up to my ankles), a patio table & chairs inside, no phone, no coffee, no nothing else... that's what you get. I paid $99.00 per night for one person on the weekend. I would not stay here again, I'd pay extra for a nice room to come back to from a day at the beach or of shopping, or a nice room to wake up in.
