This hotel was formerly known as "The Prado Inn" and was always a pleasure to stay there. Since it was bought out by "Days Inn", the prices have almost doubled, and the service is halved. The rooms are clean, but nothing special. There is a nice pool, but again, nothing special. They supposedly offer a continental breakfast which starts at 7am. At 7:30am, there was nothing out except lukewarm coffee. When I rang the bell at the front desk, no one responded. After going back to the room and calling the front desk, I was told breakfast would be put out. When I went back down, there was a basket of plastic wrapped, two-day old rolls on the counter, with the same lukewarm coffee. I asked if that was it, and was told it was. No juice, no fruit, no cereal..... When I asked for hot coffee at least, I did get it, but with a serving of attitude which I was not expecting.
There is a fantastic boutique hotel across the street with comparable rates....that is where I will stay next time.
