I will start by saying nothing was horribly wrong: the room was spacious, the bed comfortable, it was very easy to get to the airport, there was free parking the staff was nice and it was close to where I had to do business. However, if my work brings me to this area again, I think I'll look elsewhere... even if it means a little further drive. I decided to stay here based on the reviews from this site and I needed lodging where I could get the government per diem rate. My recent, previous stays at other Hampton Inns had been good, so I thought I'd try this one. My first disappointment was there was no evening reception. I realize this isn't required, but I guess I've been spoiled by the other hotels that do this (including other Hamptons)... okay, I'll find someplace close to get dinner. My yelp app showed there was only fast food (subway, Del Taco) and Spoons (with mediocre reviews). When I asked the front desk they only recommended Spoons and handed me a 10% off card. Since it was getting late, I decided to go here... I realize this isn't a review for Spoons, but since it came recommended by the hotel I'll include it here: very below average, but if you're a business traveller dining by yourself you won't feel out of place since that's what almost all the customers were -- but it was table service and I could order a drink. Back to the hotel, my room (413) was large, kind of a weird layout (like it was remodeled and expanded maybe). THe bedroom area had very high ceilings and a huge window... which was beautiful, except you know how hotel curtains don't have any rods or strings to pull them closed... well I could never get these curtains completely closed by tugging & pulling because I wasn't close enough to the curtain rod. Gaps in the curtains allowed light to stream into the room from the outside lights. Next, maybe I travel with more electronic equipment than most (personal phone, work phone, computer, ipod), but I had a hard time finding outlets to charge them. There was one outlet in the base of the light at the desk. I didn't crawl under the desk to find more. Looking around the living area, I saw no other easily accessible outlets. By the coffee pot? No, the plug was threaded through the built-in cabinet, behind the refridgerator (I think)... the same with the TV. I did have a spare outlet in the bathroom (but small counters and I hated leaving electronics so close to the sink)... the only other outlet was behind the night stand. Most of the hotels I stay in have been adding lighted make-up type mirrors and usually there's a full-length mirror... not here. I will say the breakfast was about what I'd expect, there was plentiful parking, the people were nice. The housekeeping staff know how to creatively fold the very average towels. I'm Hilton Gold and I got 1 bottle of water and a rice krispie snack -- I guess it's better than nothing, but I starting thinking I should have looked a little harder for a regular Hilton. My second night, I thought I'd check the little convenience store area for a single-serve bottle of wine or beer, I guess they don't have a license to sell alcohol. Like I said, nothing was horribly wrong, it just wasn't a great stay.

Sorry to hear you had a disappointing experience! Although Hampton Inns are Hilton's focused service brand and therefore do not carry liquor licences are not able to sell or give away Alcaholic beverages as Embassy Suites, Doubletree and Hilton brands, we stive to provide great customer service and value with our oversized suites and expansive breakfast including Asian breakfasts.
We hope you will reconsider as the value in our price for a SUITE with free hot breakfast, parking, WIFI and airport shuttle, which many others do not offer complimentary, more than makes up for not having a bar. Thanks again for your patronage! Hope you will reconsider....
