I have stayed at this hotel several times over the last few years. Until recently it was a Red Roof Inn and had been a fairly well kept property. Apparently it was recently turned into a Motel 6 and it is apparent the clientele has changed for the worse. I noticed quite a few questionable characters loitering around the stairs when I arrived after a late night flight. The room was clean and in good condition and the HVAC functioned properly so I have no complaints inside the room. In the future I will avoid this location as it appears the neighborhood has gotten marginal. There are plenty of other hotels nearby for similar prices that are in much better and safer locations.

“Not fancy, but clean and cheap”

It's not fancy, but it's very clean with good prices. Stayed there for about $55 on a Saturday night in the summer -- hard to beat those kind of prices that close to Disney/Knott's attractions. This rate was through one of their "Red's Hot Deals" specials on the company's web site. No continental breakfast (as with all Red Roof Inns), and amenities are few. But if you're looking for a nice clean place to lay your weary head for not a lot of money, here's your place.
