Very nice Hilton/Double tree property. Surrounded in a business park, and not directly under the arrival path of SNA. Close to the Sergerstrom Performing Art Center. Convenient freeway accessibility. Room was clean, neat, staff was friendly. Self park is an additional cost, and the lot looks small and fills up quickly. Picturesque view from some rooms of a man made lake, for those who would like more than tall buildings to look at.

I came to this hotel on a work trip. It's a smaller hotel that's a bit older. The walls are really thin, when the person next door is showering, flushing the toliet, etc it sounds like it's in your room. When anyone opens or closes the door around you it shakes your whole room which is a bit scary if you are staying alone. The room is clean enough. I would probably try out a different hotel next time.

Just spent another 10 night here. Great little hotel off the main road with everything you could need for a good base. Proximity to all shops etc ( Fashion Island, SCP, Irvine Spec.)etc is great. About 1 hour from Palm Springs ( and outlets)!!!
The shuttle service is a great bonus as next time I wont bother to hire a car....
Friendly and efficient staff - our housekeeper was esp. fabulous. The hotel was very clean.
Rubio's, Starbucks and other similar eateries only 5 min walk away.
Our package included free parking and a good varied hot/cold buffet breakfast at an amazing price as we booked a while ago on Thomas Cook.
Self serve $1.25 laundry on site.

I have stayed at quite a few Doubletree hotels so I am familiar with the typical offerings. Usually the larger hotels have more to offer than the small ones but I found the opposite to be true in this case, in most areas at least.

Check-in was easy and very friendly. The rooms look to have been remodeled pretty recently with flat panel TVs added (though my room had a small one - not 32' as listed on the website). Sometimes it's the little things that stand out and I really appreciated the extra amenities not offered in many Doubletree hotels - body wash, mouthwash, shower cap, even a shoe mit. And the toilet paper, tissues and towels had been nicely decorated by the housekeeping staff.

The breakfast buffet in the morning had a very good selection and service was friendly again. Everything I tried was good quality.

I like the location, right on a small lake which I had as the view from my room. It's in a business district so this is a nice mini escape.

A few drawbacks:
-Parking isn't free ($11/day as of this review), but at least they have a hotel shuttle as an alternative if you're flying.
-The fitness center is one thing about this hotel that reflects its size. It is way too small and needs to be addressed.
-By far my biggest issue is no central heating and air. My A/C unit did not work well at all and seemed to be defective. This one thing really kept the room from feeling 4-star quality.

Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're in the area. It has great value for its price and size and I think it will be a pleasant surprise for most travelers.
