Hopefully, this hotel will not be around much longer. The faucet on the sink barely worked, the shower was too hot, and the desk attendant was asleep when I checked out at 5:15am. You can tell it was once a nice place, but it has been poorly kept.

Santa Ana Plaza Hotel is the only one that has a view of the Ocain and motains.

It's the tallest hotel in the earea.
And for the price of a motel 6 across the street!

You can look down and see the Santa Ana Zoo!
All the freeways at night all the lights way from the noise.
You can even see Disneyland and the fireworks!

If someone would fix the place up they could charge alot more!
like $200

For a week they have $35 night.

worst day of my life - no cold water , standing in scalding hot water, brushing teeth with hot water, toilet sweating , because full of hot water, they said cold waterpump was broke- beds sag in middle - no central heat - space heater that glows orange in middle of the nite - no ice - no contiental breakfast - lite flikkering inside the room - no water in pool, picture on internet must of been taken 25 years ago. the place is run down and there seems no interest in fixin it. asked for money back - do not go there !!!!!

Well for starters, the hotel looks just as nasty on the inside as it does on the outside. The old Ramada Inn sign is still up (just missing a few letters). The odor of old cigarettes is enough to knock you down when you walk into a room. You know the hotel is bad when they give you a non-smoking room (when you specifically ask for a smoking room) and you call the front desk about it and they say you can smoke in it. The bath tub was gross... someone would be better off bathing in the dirt. When I went to plug in my cell phone charger, the plug fell right out of the outlet! I thought perhaps at least the bed would be comfortable... to my surprise it felt like I was sleeping on a flat peice of wood. The sheets are a completely different story... it looked like someone had a miscarriage on the sheets and the maids tried to wash it, but it didn't come out. The headboard wasn't even attached to the bed! This hotel was sickening. It should be rated with zero stars. The tv was not in working order... it was fuzzy and it was about 15 inches. There was no clock, so we had to rely on our cell phones for an alarm. When we walked out of our room, we got the feeling we were the only ones on that floor. When I first arrived, the thermostat read 82 degrees. We asked the front desk about it and they basically made us feel stupid... the thermostat didn't get below 75 degrees the whole time, when I had it set to 66. All in all, the temperature, bed, bed sheets, bathroom, carpet, and horrible smell is what bothered me. My boyfriend, on the other hand, needed a simple pen to write down some directions. A decent hotel has a pen and a notepad. To make a long story short, my boyfriend had to drive down the street and bum a pencil off somebody at a gas station. We ended up leaving the hotel before our check out date without asking for our money back. We stayed at a very elegant hotel in Santa Monica. Don't Stay Anywhere Near Santa Ana for the sake of your health!!
