I read all the reviews and figured that everyone was probably overeacting. Or really picky....but it really is as bad as everyone says it is. For starters it was better suited for a haunted house than a hotel. No doubt one of the creepiest places I have ever been to in my life. The elevator was squeaking and went by really slowly....pretty eerie. If your willing to pay a little more find something a little less run down and haunted.

I wanted to stay here to save a few bucks and I truly wanted to see if the hotel was as bad as ALL of the reviews say it is.... and it was. I do not believe in ghost but it was very creepy at the Santa Ana Plaza. If I didn't know better, I would think this place was built in 1920's. Good luck to anyone staying there tonight!!

Hopefully, this hotel will not be around much longer. The faucet on the sink barely worked, the shower was too hot, and the desk attendant was asleep when I checked out at 5:15am. You can tell it was once a nice place, but it has been poorly kept.

Santa Ana Plaza Hotel is the only one that has a view of the Ocain and motains.

It's the tallest hotel in the earea.
And for the price of a motel 6 across the street!

You can look down and see the Santa Ana Zoo!
All the freeways at night all the lights way from the noise.
You can even see Disneyland and the fireworks!

If someone would fix the place up they could charge alot more!
like $200

For a week they have $35 night.
