My husband and I stay at this hotel almost everytime we go to San Simeon, and we made a trip there at least once or twice a year. We made the horrible mistake of staying somewhere else and regretted every mintue of it.
You cant get a better view, a lovely room and great price in this part of CA, even if you tried. The staff is amazing (they delivered a bottle of wine to our room for my birthday!) and all the guest always seem to be the nicest people we've ever run into.
Cambria is one of our favorite towns so it's nice that it's right down the street.
I'm sure the hotels on moonstone are great, but you really cant beat this hotel. Make sure you get a room update so you're in the lower half of the property. Waking up to the ocean waves and cup of coffee is the prefect escape from every day life.

Loved staying at this Best Western. I must admit when my husband booked it, I said "Really, a Best Western?". I was happily surprised at the amenities, friendly staff, nice room on the ocean with a real working fireplace and warming huts on the beach. It got an A+.

I would visit this Best Western again. It was so relaxing to wake up to the sound of the ocean in a quiet and undeveloped location. We are planning our next trip to this facility.

Just kidding, Sacramento, California isn't that bad. Husband and I love to go to this hotel in San Simeon because it is so quiet and serene. God's beautiful ocean and the funny sea lions, bulls and pups are of course the best attraction there. There are other wonderful things too. There is a wonderful pier in Cayugos, California and a lot of restaurants to choose from. Best Western Cavalier is definitely professionally run. Sonja the receptionist was especially thoughtful when we checked in. It was a long day of driving so we appreciated her peaceful and courteous manner. The Spanish maintenance man was very helpful with the Kierig coffee maker which I wasn't using correctly. Very comfortable sleeping quarters, everything clean. Spanish cleaning lady very sweet. Restaurant on location was as usual up to par and very convenient for us. Had a quiet Saturday night so nice group of people were there. We slept well. All in all we had a wonderful, restful time. Very understanding and nice management.

Coming back from Santa Baraba needed a hotel for the nite to see the Castle! Lucked out and found a room near the beach for a very good price! Fully stocked refer new Kuering coffee machine using pods! Had every ammenity you could use! We loved the active fire pots near the beach and two pools with hot tubs! Fire place in room was really a nice touch!
