We made a reservation directly to the hotel telling the clerk we needed a quiet room. We were assured the room would be quiet. When we checked in, we again requested specifically a quiet room, away from elevators, ice machines and any other noise sources. We were assured we were receiving a quiet room. Initially, we thought the room was OK. It wasn't until we went to bed that we became aware of the freeway traffic noise. It was horrendous, but it was late, we were unpacked and ready for bed so we didn't ask for another room. The traffic noise made sleep impossible. At checkout the next morning, we expressed our dismay to the clerk. Her response was, "Everyone can't be on the quiet side of the building!!" The room was too noisy and the customer service was unresponsive to our complaint. We will not return.
