We stayed 3 nights at the HIE in San Pablo, CA, after returning home I checked my statement and found I was overcharged $173!! I immediately called the hotel and spoke with the manager Parrish, he was rude and insulting. Argued with me about the charge and insisted I was wrong. After insisting he review his billing he then acknowledged that I was correct and agreed to return the money. Unfortunately his error caused me to incur overdraft charges, which he has repeatedly refused to pay. I had to issue a complaint to HIE corporate and they have forced him to pay the overdraft fees. This man is not manager material, does not understand the concept of customer service. He really should not be representing HIE.
