I have been coming to the 10th Street Cafe for over half a decade. Every year I drive through San Miguel on my way to visit family on the Central California Coast. I spend a night in Paso Robles for no other reason than to take the family to visit Dallas and Karen. The food is amazing, the party atmosphere is a blast. The wine selection is THE BEST up and down the coast. If you are looking for a snooty evening, look elsewhere, but if you are looking for a place filled with good friends, good wine, and good food, look no further!!

I love the Tenth Street Cafe, though it's a bit of drive (40 minutes for us) it well worth it and I try to get up there several times a year. The food is excellent and the staff is incredibly friendly. The last time we were there, the head chef came out after dinner to gives us an impromptu lesson in Flamenco dance.

Food is served family style, and the portions are huge and delicious. The price is very reasonable lots of dishes on every menu. The only downside to this place is that is that you will eat too much.

I highly recommend the Tenth Street Basque Cafe, it's a little-know gem on the central coast.

10th Street Basque Cafe is not only one of the best restaurants in or near the central coast, but it is also a fun and unique experience. The food is delicious, expertly prepared, and served in a family style that I have not found anywhere else in this area. Not only will you have a long, leisurely (and delicious) meal, but you will meet interesting people and have a lot of fun. Be sure to order a carafe of sangria for your table!

There are a lot of good restaurants on the Central Coast, but 10th St Vineyard Cafe is among the best. The food is diverse as well as tasty and you'll always be surprised by something on the menu. I generally dislike tomato bisque, for example, but one of my companions convinced me to try the on here and it was fantastic. Clearly, I had just not had a good example before then.

The Chef is a a great character and loves to come out and mingle with the patrons. He taught our group the Flamenco while we were enjoying a fabulous bread pudding for dessert on my last trip.

And at $25 a meal for a 7+ course dinner, its hard to beat the combination of quality, price, and atmosphere. I would highly recommend trying it once -- and then you'll keep coming back.
