I wouldn't normally review a Hampton. I stay at Hamptons a lot for business and they are all pretty much the same. I stayed at this property for 2 weeks this past summer and I feel that I can address some of the issues in previous reviews.
1. Management: David and Lauren were efficient and responsive. The hotel was full most of the time and they handled the constant activity well. I did witness a couple of guests become "un-civil" and both David and Lauren handled the situations professionally.
2. General Noise: It is true that there is a certain amount of noise at this property. If noise bothers you, I'd suggest asking for a room on the 3rd floor towards the back of the building. I stayed in 3 different rooms during my time at this hotel. The top floor at the back of the property is definitely quieter....but you don't want to be right next to the laundry room.
3. Door Noise: Yes this is an issue. Management should probably address the slamming door noises with gaskets on the bottom of the doors.
4. Breakfast: It is true that the eggs and meat are a little dry. If you like slimy eggs and greasy breakfast meat, there are a lot of nearby restaurants serving that kind of food. I noticed that the muffins disappeared early on some days.
Overall, this Hampton was better than most. If you're business/vacation budget only permits you a moderate hotel...this place is worth what you pay.
