I didn't know there was a 48 hour cancellation policy (I made the reservation about 15 hours in advance)...so I asked for consideration when I decided to cancel. In his shrill, rapid Indian voice, the owner says "What do you mean you want to cancel. You cannot cancel!".

So, I decided to not waste the mony: I checked in. I learned from the desk clerk (nice guy: his son, I think) that they were full that night. I asked for the owner...and asked him why, if they were full, he wouldn't accommodate my request to cancel. 'because if I do it for you, others will take ".

This idiot thinks being in the hospitality business means enforcing mindless house rules.

Then, I'm put in a room net to their tiny pool....where a group of young adults were loudly drinking great quantities of beer. And the bed wasn't that omfortable!

As I Sid, I understand about rules...but I also understand about making the customer happy.

The location is right off the 101 and the price is affordable, but don't expect a lot. Good for a stopover, but I wouldn't spend more than one night, or spend time in the room. Clean enough. Comfortable enough. Window in bathroom aired it out well. Instructions on A/C were rubbed off. Continental breakfast was meager. We apparently interrupted the front desk manager as he seemed more interested in his tablet than in us. Also, on check out, the morning manager called to us from the back room rather than come out front when he knew we were there. HOWEVER, we left a cell phone in the room and the hotel staff called us later that day and helped us arrange its return (hopefully it will be at home when we arrive!). Kudos to the housekeeping staff!

Our room was filthy. Hair in the bed on the sheet. Something sticky on the floor and beer and wines bottles in the trash can. I asked for another room and was told they had to think about it. After an hour I went to see how the "thinking was going" and they desk clerk, manager and his wife were all there and very offended that I was critical of their establishment. I was charged $35.00 dollars for a "cleaning fee" and left. We checked in at the "Comfort Inn" on the main drag. Same price and a beautiful room!

This Ramada is an abomination!! Disgusting!

The staff was short and extremely rude upon or check in. The room we checked into was not clean and there were dirty socks in the bed. Absolute awful experience!!
