We really enjoyed our stay at San Luis Creek Lodge and will definitely try to stay here the next time we come to SLO. The staff was SO friendly and accommodating. We originally booked a room in the Londonderry building but when we checked in we were told the satellite wasn't working so they asked if we wanted to switch rooms. Not a big deal so we got a room in the Craftsmen building. It was clean and comfortable. The only reason I didn't give a 5 rating was because our mini fridge would buzz loudly on and off and it's annoying when I would try to sleep. Other than that, we loved the room and breakfast was awesome as well!

We had an amazing time we stayed there for a few days and the hosts & staff were wonderful and polite. The breakfast was amazing & fresh. The room was spotless and spacious. The rooms to the back of the hotel had a beautiful view of the hills. It was located near many great stops. Close to many stops and yet just off the road. We never heard any traffic while staying there. The management was very kind about our early checkout time because we had to leave very early. I wish to go back & stay here next time.

On our way home from a wine tasting trip with friends outside Santa Barbara, we needed a place to stay between LA and SF. My husband found this Inn - the reviews were positive so we tried it. The room was great. Big bed, great sheets and pillows and a fabulous bathroom (with only one missed opportunity - the shower was about 6` long and could have had another showerhead to make a double shower.) The room and bathroom were spotless and comfortable with coffee and tea for the morning. The served breakfast was very boring however. And the small breakfast room was so crowded that some folks couldn't get in. We ordered eggs but they took so long that we just ate cereal and left. Still, we would go back if we were in the area.
