I would certainly recommend this hotel to others.
The only downside was the somewhat iffy neighborhood around the location, as the number of prostitutes and homeless was palpable, especially after the sun goes down. Not the hotel's fault, and guest at the (much) more expensive upscale Wyndham Hotel a block away have the same issues to contend with.
Me and my wife just finished a four-night stay and were pleasantly surprised with the hotel, even wagering to call it 'Swanky' after checking in. The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. The parking garage is a very nice touch as it not only keeps the elements out, but provides a greater degree of security; plenty of spaces to park in. We had a King Suite, and it was very acceptable. The sink-equipped kitchenette was a very nice touch, with a large refrigerator and a microwave with more than enough cabinet space for storing food items brought along.
We unexpectedly had a request from a friend on the last day of our stay for a place to stay, and the staff quickly arranged for a roll-away bed. So quickly that it arrived before I'd hung up the phone with the front desk to the request!
Transit is fantastic. They have a taxi (free of charge) perform the airport to hotel shuttle, and the VTA lightrail is immediately in front of the hotel (Gish Station.)
