“Gem of San Jose”

My family and I stayed here for about 3 days and enjoyed every second of our stay. This place looks just as great in the pictures as it is in person. Our check in process from Adam was extremely fast and thorough. The bellmen who assisted me to my room, William, was very courteous and knowledgeable about the resort. There definitely was no awkward silence. There is free wifi and that came in handy!

I believe they got new mattresses or something because sleeping came easy! If anyone wants to get away and sleep on a cloud, this is the place to come! The service at this place was top notched! I felt like everyone here knew me by name! Check out was easy as well. I just picked up the phone and told Rose on the phone that was out and that was it! I would recommend this place to everyone I know! Great stay guys!

“Super quiet, super beautiful”

Husband and I stayed here while attending a skating event at HP Pavillion in town. It was perfect--great breakfast (omelette chef) good dinner (NY steak) and truly peaceful and comfy. Liked parking car a few feet from the room for free, sitting in sun using free Internet, wandering adjacent park (kids play equipment good, tennis courts unused, sand volley ball (equipment at desk), cozy bar with fire. Felt it was a bargain tho could have saved $5.00 with B&B rate if we had known breakfast was so good. Drive down town is simple 15 minutes on weekend anyhow.

Fabulous mansion that is open to visitors. Take the self-guided tour. Accomodations are excellent also. They have a conference center which is the main business.

“Great place - off the beaten track but lovely”

Stayed here for 2 nights with my wife. Wanted a place with tennis and access to the general area of San Jose. This was a great choice. A large public park immediately adjacent has 3 tennis courts, no charge to use. Beautiful setting, but not in business area or near downtown or airport. So, great for a getaway, but not necessarily great for business.

We rented a Parlor Suite --- 2 rooms. Nicely laid out and well-equipped, including refrigerator and extra sink.

Price was reasonable.

“Beautiful grounds, nice price”

My husband and I stayed there for 2 nights to attend a family wedding. We had a room with a king bed which lacked a night stand on myside, so everything went on the floor. The room was nice, but not very large. My aunt's room with 2 queens was spacious, had 2 nightstands, a round table and work table, plus a sink and counter outside of the bathroom. Rooms have safes and large screen tv's with good reception. Also free Internet service. Grounds were beautiful, but laid out in a manner that were problamatic for someone with mobilty problems. Dining room not open on Sunday morning, but food can be ordered in the small bar. Food was delicious but not cheap. The exercise room was spacious and well equipped, including showers.
