“Worst Night's Sleep. Disgusting Bathroom and Indifferent Management”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

Booked block of rooms for conference. We had the "Presidential Suite". Bathroom flooded in afternoon (toilet backed up). At 11:30pm, tried to shower, and bathtub was bubbling up with what looks like poo and other crap. Called night manager, maintenance came up but mgr kept saying his shift ends at 1am and to talk with day mgr! Bathroom did not get fixed. We had to use our family's connected room's bathroom that night and next AM. Then room downstairs kept calling our room to ask us to keep the noise down, but it was the backed up toilet, called again in the AM because water is now running down the walls of their bathroom downstairs. They apparently must not have ha much luck with mgr either. Hotel clearly needs better maintenance and the totally uncaring management is the worst! We'd getting sanitizers to disinfect the bath/toilet. Totally appalled and exhausted. A nightmare all around.

“Ok hotel but service not as good”

We recently stayed at this hotel. The check in was fine. Was upgraded with no problems. Room was clean. The bed was comfortable. However, We had a problem with the service at the bar and the restaurant. We arrived at the hotel about 3:00pm. We went to the bar for a drink and something to eat. There was no one in the bar to serve us. My husband had to go into the restaurant to find someone to serve us. After we finally ordered, the food took at least 30 minutes to be served. There was no one else in the bar or the restaurant. GRRRRR! The next morningit was very busy during breakfast. There was a soccer tournament involving a lot of children who were staying at the hotel. There was simply not enough staff to handle the diners. When I asked for a cup of coffee I was handed a styofoam cup. This may sound petty, but I think it represents the basic service of the hotel. The hotel does not staff adequately. It appears to be the best hotel in the area. WOW!!!

“Nice Hotel, Clean Rooms, Great Night Sleep”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

I am a little lost on the recent reviews that this property has been given. I do not believe they accurately review this property.

While the hotel is probably a little older than others in the area, it was a nice property. I spent two nights there. The lobby was bright, clean and inviting. The staff were excellent and the room rates were better than what was quoted online at Garden Inn or Hampton in the area. We ended up using Priceline.com, and lucked out at this hotel for a rate of $55. I would have had no problem with paying the published rate. The hotel did not seem "old" or was not "dark inside". The television was a flat screen TV. TV signal was a little grainy on some channels. Rooms were nicely decorated, carpet soft and clean (walked with white socks and they stayed white) and It had standard size elevators that were not an issue. The beds were very comfortable (and I'm pretty picky on that) with nice pillows and down comforter. So, as far as the rooms and staff go, they were more than adequate.

Another review mentioned the toilets and the breakfast buffet. I mention them together, because, well you know they were somewhat the same! Toilet was very low (I almost though I was back in Japan!) But, all joking aside, they were pretty low. Do not bother with the restaurant. Expensive with basic food choices. There are quite a few restaurants near there. We opted for IHOP right next door.

The pool/hot tub area was nice and clean. The kids enjoyed that. There is also a nice area with tables and gas grills to have an BBQ with a group.

Would I stay there again, probably. I had a great night sleep in a clean and quiet room. (oh, make sure when you make your reservation that you are on the opposite side of the freeway to reduce noise). I do have an issue with any hotel charging for WiFi. In this day and age, connectivity is a must and I feel that charging for a wireless internet connection is just sticking it to me. As a rule I do not stay anywhere that charges, and here they did.

Room Tip: High Floor, Away from Elevator, facing the front of the building. Building sets next to I-215 / I-1...

“Old”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2012

The hotel seemed old, and it was quite dark inside. The television was old and did not work as it should. The elevator was small too. The area was not tempting, but we had to stay there for the night untill we could drive on.

“Not happy”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 January 2012

We pulled into this hotel thinking we were at another similarly named hotel. The staff were excellent and gave us a reasonable quote and promised a quiet room away from the freeway to save us driving any further. We booked two rooms and for a Hilton hotel they were very ordinary. One room was quite dirty, there were hairs on the sheets of one of the beds, lost credibility very quickly for the standard of cleanliness. The bed though was comfortable and the room, as promised by the check in staff, was quiet. The bathroom was so badly set out that you had to back up or sit on the toilet to be able to close the door and drying yourself outside of the bath/shower or drying your hair without sitting on the toilet was almost impossible. Our fridge was unplugged, scratched and filthy inside with spilled fluids in several different places inside. It was a quiet time for the hotels so I was very disappointed at the standard of upkeep. We did not use the hotel services as it was a quick stay and we were very close to an IHOP where we had a yummy breakfast. Sorry Hilton, not impressed!!!

Room Tip: research your hotels very carefully, at the end of the day a clean comfortable bed, an easy to use b...
