We just returned from a lovely stay at this hotel. For the money, this is the way to go. Free parking, great breakfast, great location and great staff, we were greeted by helpful smiles by all staff at this hotel. A Starbucks is across the street, next to the train station, save a dollar on parking and walk across to get there. Don't overlook this gem!

This hotel is an excellent choice if you are just interested in a clean and convenient place to stay in Sacramento. I had a morning meeting in the city and came in the night before. Clean room, adequate size, no frills but everything worked. There is some road and train noise but being a heavy sleeper it did not bother me.

Without question, I would stay there again but if you're looking for something unique or special this is not the place.

It is what it is....Inexpensive but very close to Old Sacramento...walking distance. The rooms are outdated, but there is a pool and hot tub. Plus Denny's is right next door, which is great for late night (after 2 am) eating. Close to the freeway and the airport is about 10 miles away. Great pit stop.

We stayed one night in this hotel on our way to Lake Tahoe. The hotel could not be any easier to find! As soon as you come off the freeway its straight in front of you! The location is great and is close to Old Town and also a large shopping mall too.
Our room was spacious and had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker which was handy. Like other reviews, we did find it a little noisy but not from the freeway but from the station over the road and the freight trains which ran through the night. There was also a sprinkler running in the car park during the night which woke us up at around 4am but after calling reception, someone came and stopped it straight away.
The breakfast which was included was good with a good choice of muffins and waffles etc.
We ate in dennys for dinner which was right next door.
Its an easy walk through the car park to get to Old Sacramento and is worth a visit - there are some nice bars there as well as interesting shops and museums. We did feel a little unsafe when walking around later in the afternoon as there seemed to be drunk people hanging around so we did not stay out after dark for this reason, so like in any city, you just need to stay alert!!
