The place was fine. I don't personally like dragging my luggage up a flight of stairs, but that is probably fine for the longer term resident that this type of place usually attracks. The noise my fridge made - was LOUD and woke me up a couple of times at night. There is a full fridge, stove, sink etc. I did not like that the TV was placed so it was ackward to watch from bed...faced it opposite the couch. The bathroom was functional. It really is set up for those on longer stays..I was only there two nights. There are lots of places to eat in the area but I would not say that it is the best neighborhood, but it is a terrible one either. Nice and efficient check in, small pool area and the breakfasts were really good. Scrambled eggs, potatoes, waffles, fresh fruit, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, OJ, good coffee and a few other things. Evening reception - I did not know about this the first night...but it is really a meal if you want it to be. Overall, a perfectly serviceable extended stay place.

This hotel is comfortable and convenient to Sacramento, and walkable to nearby restaurants. The staff was friendly. My only complaint would be the $17/day parking.

This hotel is in an area of town where there aren't a lot of lodging options, and although it's squeezed into a minimall/chain restaurant area, it's decently located. But boy, are the rooms worn out. From the appearances of the appliances in the little kitchen, the hotel dates back to the 80's, and I don't think it's been redone since. The Wallpaper is yellowed and peeling at the seams, linoleum in the bathroom was wavy, and the varnish was chipping or worn off of the wooden cabinets in the bathroom and kitchen. In short, it's pretty dingy and worn out. That said, the common areas are decently well-kept, the breakfast is plentiful, and the service was okay. If I had a very good rate for a very short stay, and if staying in this area of town were critically important, I'd stay here again - otherwise, I'd stay away.

This is the oldest, dirtiest Marriott property I've ever stayed in. The room smelled musty and "moldy"upon arrival. The fridge ice maker was broken, the remote contol was broken, a ceiling fan did not work, and one of the shower drains was plugged.
We then noticed the pull out bed blanket was filthy - with reddish streaks on one side.
Needless to say, this was a very disappointing experience for Marriott's reputation.
