We stayed one night on a recent visit to Sacramento. The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and modern bath and shower facilities. They had a fitness room that was very small but with pretty modern equipment. A pleasant surprise to us was the happy hour that featured decent California wines and tasty chicken wings along with some raw veggies and mini pizzas. Add in the included free wi fi and hot and cold breakfast and the place registers on my screen as a solid value for the price. I usually check out Hampton Inns when we travel as they are pretty consistent in quality. In this particular location, that quality was accompanied by a very attractive room rate as well.

Nothing special here, but then again, nothing to complain about either. Clean room, courteous staff and the usual free breakfast. High speed internet connection is anything but high speed. Ask at the front desk and they will tell you the fitness center is small and they're not kidding. Holiday Inn Express is across the parking lot and looks nicer. If the price is similar, I'll try the Holiday Inn Express next time.

I like the newer Hampton Inn's better, this is one of the older smaller ones. The rooms are basic but have everything you need. Front Desk staff only had one person working and he seemed stressed out from other guest issues, we waited in line to checkin for about 15 mintues, but it wasnt his fault, he was on the phone trying to get help for a guest in front of us that had some special needs.

Breakfast is the same at every Hampton it seems, but its free and it fills you up, and thats all I need.

I stayed here for business and when I checked in the front was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and nice but it is getting a little dated. The area around the hotel at night is not the best and but there is plenty of lighting and a new Holdiay Inn Express next door so that helps. The breakfast was good but the seating area is a little small. What makes this hotel is the staff and price.
