The overall view of the hotel was nothing special, room and bathroom were clean. We had a non smoking room but going through the back door you can really tell which ones are the smoking ones because the air is full of smoke. We used the pool but there were no loungers so its either in the pool or sitting upright for ya.
Breakfast was a little sub-par from other Days Inn but enjoyable none the less.

Stayed here16th June2011, for three nights. We wanted to stay in Sacramento, and this motel seemed to be the best place to be, rather than stay right in the city. Located just off the freeway, far enough away not to here the noise from it in the room. Checked in ok. The girl on the desk was nice and polite. We had a king bedroom, it was clean and spacious. Comfy bed, clean sheets good nights sleep. Nice clean bathroom[good size] clean towels every day. TV, Fridge etc. in room. Our room was upstairs which we wanted. Comp. Breakfast was down in the lobby, it seemed a bit cramped when there were a few folk around, but we managed to get ourselves served. The food itself was good, it set us up for the morning. Downtown Sac. is a 15min. walk, along the river, which leads you into Old Sac. Lots of shops/restaurants, you can't go wrong. We really enjoyed it, plenty to see and do. Great for everyone.

I was wary to stay at a Days Inn after usually staying at Marriotts and Hiltons. I was pleasantly surprised. It is a solid three-star hotel. The staff, however, was five-star. The place was clean, quiet and in a decent location.

I stayed six nights in September, 2010, a solo woman traveler. They picked me up at the airport soon after a phone call, and took me back my last day. Service was all round good, WiFi fast, and I felt safe there even though a bus driver told me it's not the best part of town. I both took the bus and walked along the river to downtown, I wouldn't walk the river after dark. In the morning, there were pleny of runners. Taxi to/from downtown is quick and cheap. The bus/Google transit works. Next door is a Mexian restaurant that also serves American favorties, it's clean, convenient, inexpensive, the people are nice, and the food is good enough. A couple blocks away are more fast food and sit down restaurants. My only disappointment was that the pool was not heated, frigid, boo hoo. I asked for a smoke free, pet free room and got one with no odors. A very nice stay.
