Clean. Cool. Owned by Hilton, a lot like Hampton Inn & Suites. In fact, Homewood is nestled right between Hampton Inn & Suites and Holiday Inn Express on Advantage Way.
So, as all hotels now have the common policy of if you want to use a towel again, hang it up, if it's on the floor they will will replace. Well our first morning there, I hung up a very expensive microfiber plush face mitt from a unique skin care line I use that can only be ordered from this certain company and with a package (what I'm saying is, I just can't pick this up at Walgreens or a dept store.) on the little towel rack by the sink to dry because it was wet after use, obviously. Apparently because it was white, the housekeeping tossed it in with the wash!!! We called the front desk and explained. We have yet to understand why they would take it when policy says they won't touch towels that are hung up-- besides IT WASN'T A TOWEL! It's been over a week since our stay, and they have yet to find it or return it. I'm out a very expensive skin care product of mine, and they refused to do anything to comp that mistake of theirs. All they offered was "IF we find it, we'll call you." ??????
Then on the exact same stay (over Christmas), it was my mother-in-law who made reservations, paid for the whole family's stay, etc. When checking out, we verified everything was cool and paid for, and we wouldn't be charged. Upon returning home-- WE DID get charged for the whole weekend! We called. The charge did go through. So instead of just cancelling it, they had to credit us.
They have no idea what they're doin'.
